Phillips Car Care up Hwy 49 is the best there is in Hattiesburg Area it my knowledge. They do a good job and do not charge as much as many do. They back up their work, too. Their number is listed in the Hattiesburg Phone Book.

I have used Phillips Car Care Center (just off of 49 North past the I-59 over pass on Rawl Springs Road) for many years. They’ve always done good, honest work for me. (601) 264-8805

They will give you an estimate before any work and they guarantee their work.

Recently, a heater coil went out in my wife’s jeep. They repaired it. 2 days later it happened again. The part they put in the first time was defective. They repaired it again at no charge and paid for the tow truck to get it there.

I had some engine problems on my 2001 pickup, a mechanic near my home (cause I couldn’t drive it) told me I needed a new engine around $5,000. Towed it to Phillips and they found a broken valve spring, fixed for $300.

And I have many more examples of the honest work they do. And, they fix it.

Only down side is that they do not open til 8am, close at 5pm and do not work on weekends.
